Stampymania hits the Caird Hall today as the online star of Minecraft real name Joseph Garrett delivers the Royal Society of Edinburgh’s biggest ever lecture.
The web hero has an incredible six million subscribers on YouTube and he is in Dundee today for two eagerly anticipated performances.

The first lecture is being given free to schoolchildren while the second event sold out in minutes as hundreds of parents queued to buy tickets.
Stampy tweeted pictures of the Caird Hall on Sunday and said he was “so excited” to be appearing in Dundee.
Because of the number of buses arriving in Dundee city centre for the first talk, Shore Terrace car park will be closed until at least 3pm.
From his home in Hampshire, Stampy Cat creates daily videos showing the incredibly detailed landscapes, creatures and adventures he creates with Minecraft.
