VIDEO: Planners produce dramatic new vision of Dundee’s waterfront

Planners behind the £1 billion regeneration of Dundee’s waterfront have revealed a stunning new fly-through of the city of the future.

The 3D animation, which will be formally debuted at investors’ roadshows in Edinburgh and Glasgow on Tuesday, shows how Dundee could look once the project is complete.

It reveals new viewpoints across the city centre, including major landmarks like the V&A at Dundee, and a host of major new developments.

The video also reveals the new grid-pattern street network and a major central green space which is depicted hosting an outdoor gig and carnival.
