A Dundee man has been charged with driving at more than twice the speed limit down the Kingsway.
John McMillan, 20, of Haldane Terrace, allegedly hit a top speed of 105mph.
Prosecutors say he more than doubled the legal limit of 50mph as he drove along a stretch of the road near the junction with Mains Loan.
He is scheduled at the sheriff court on Friday.
McMillan is charged with driving a car dangerously and at an excessive speed of 105mph in a 50mph limit on the A90 Kingsway, near to Mains Loan, on June 26.
The stretch of Kingsway where McMillan allegedly reached 105mph is near to the junction with Mains Loan, which crosses the A90 between the Forfar Road traffic lights and the Woodside Avenue turn-off.
The Kingsway is a 50mph dual carriageway from west to east until it reaches the Forfar Road junction, at which point it drops to 40mph and becomes Kingsway East.
