The Proclaimers have confirmed a pre-Christmas gig at Dundee’s Caird Hall with tickets to go on sale on Friday May 29.
Twin brothers Craig and Charlie Reid, behind hits including ‘500 Miles’ and ‘Sunshine on Leith’, have enjoyed huge success across the globe and released their 10th studio album ‘Let’s Hear It For The Dogs’ last month.
But they have never forgotten their Scottish roots and ensured that a night in Dundee on December 19 would have to be part of their forthcoming tour.
“We are looking forward immensely to the shows,” the band said in a statement.
“It feel like we’ve been away for a long time so it will be great to be back on stage in Scotland.”
Tickets restricted to six per customer go on sale at 9am from Dundee City Box Office on Friday.
