Road closed after accident causes oil spill in Dundee road

An accident between an articulated lorry and another vehicle has closed Dundee’s Paterson Street.

The two vehicles collided at around 11am, outside Kelbie Recycling, causing an oil spillage.

Firefighters who attended have been putting grit down on the carriageway in a bid to soak up some of the liquid.

A roads team from Dundee City Council has also been called for.
