Two ambitious Dundee film-makers are “thrilled” with the response they have received following the release of their latest online comedy show, which features Scottish favourites The Proclaimers.
Stuart Hamilton, 31, who wrote and directed the show along with Liam Johnston, 33, told The Courier that the pair’s’ “chief aim” is to now get none other than Hollywood legend Steven Spielberg on board.
The Sons of Spielberg creators mobilised their social networks last year in an attempt to convince The Proclaimers to appear and were able to film a scene with Craig and Charlie Reid before the band’s concert at the Caird Hall in December.
The episode featuring the singers was put online on Sunday night, and in the space of 24 hours had been viewed over 500 times.
Stuart Hamilton said that reaction to the episode had been “positive” and that they were pleased people were taking time out of their day to watch the show.
