A man has been found guilty of committing a string of sex offences against children in Angus and Dundee.
Derek Gall, 36, was on trial at the High Court in Aberdeen.
He faced more than 20 charges relating to the alleged abuse of young children.
Gall was accused of carrying out attacks on five children in total.
Prosecutors claimed the offences were carried out between 2006 and 2014 at properties in Dundee, Forfar and Arbroath.
A jury found him guilty of seven charges by majority verdict at the conclusion of the case.
The offences included the rape and sexual assault of two young children.
Gall, of Brougham Gardens, Dundee, carried out two rapes, two attempted rapes and two sexual assaults on his first victim between 2006 and 2014. His second victim was attacked between 2011 and 2013.
During one incident, Gall was said to have restrained and struggled with the child.
Three of the 23 charges against Gall were withdrawn.
He was found not guilty of one charge of the sexual assault of another youngster and the case not proven on 11 charges.
These included offences relating to the other two children.
Gall will appear for sentencing at the High Court in Edinburgh on Monday February 29.
Keiran Watson of the Eighteen and Under charity called for the sentence to match the crimes.
He said: “If you go by historical evidence the sentence he will receive will be relatively light compared to the lifelong damage that the children experienced and continue to experience.”
