Lorraine Kelly took to social media to vent her frustrations about every Scot’s fury when spending money south of the border.
Presenter Lorraine who makes the weekly round trip between her Broughty Ferry home and London tweeted: “Just had Scottish £10 note refused in London first time ever.”
The celebrity is not the first to bemoan the humiliation of being knocked back when handing over Scottish money in England.
Comedian Michael McIntyre joked that every Scot’s most used expression is: “I think you’ll find that’s legal tender” in a much-loved sketch.
