Britain’s Got Talent dreams played out in rainy supermarket car park in Dundee
ByGrant Smith
The old saying that “the show must go on” sprang a bit of a leak in Dundee on Saturday.
Staff from TV show Britain’s Got Talent were at the Morrisons supermarket on Afton Way as part of a UK tour to find potential contestants for the next series.
They were supposed to be there for most of the day but heavy rain forced the auditions to be cut short.
Performers hoping to follow in the footsteps of Susan Boyle or opera singing brothers Richard and Adam who auditioned at a Morrisons store last series and achieved third place, followed by a No 1 album will have to wait to learn if the recording of their performance sees them through to the next round.
Successful acts will then perform live in front of the Britain’s Got Talent judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams next year.
