Dundee chosen for launch of report on Scotland’s creative industries
ByRichard Rooney
Dundee has been chosen for the launch of a report on Scotland’s creative industries.
The Scottish Affairs Committee held a series of evidence-gathering events across the country last year, and visited Dundee in October when MPs were told the economic benefits of the creative industries could make the North Sea oil boom “look like a drop in the ocean” if given proper support.
The committee chaired by Perthshire MP Pete Wishart has now chosen Dundee for the launch its report to the UK Government.
The main findings will be presented during sessions at Abertay University starting from 11.30am on Monday January 18.
The public are being invited to attend. To book your free place, click here.
