Two appliances from the Kingsway attended the incident after the alarm was raised at 7.54pm. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used one jet and a hosereel to put out the flames. No one was hurt in the incident. Shortly afterwards, crews were also called to a blaze in the nearby former Wood Group building on Piper Street in Baldovie Industrial Estate. Rubbish in the building was on fire and hosereels were used to put out the flames. No one was hurt.
