An Angus man is due to appear in court today in connection with a £10,000 cocaine seizure.
The 24-year-old was one of two people charged after raids in Montrose and Dundee carried out under Operation Slate.
The Montrose haul is understood to have been uncovered following an operation at a house in the town’s Gibson Place on Tuesday.
A 22 year-old woman was also detained in Dundee following the recovery of Class A drugs with an estimated illicit value of £3,000 from an address in the city’s Yeamans Lane.
She is due to appear later at Dundee Sheriff Court.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: “Operation Slate is an intelligence-led initiative aimed at reducing drug-related crime in our communities.
“If you have any information or concerns about drugs in your area contact Police Scotland on 101. Alternatively information can be provided anonymously to the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
