Thousands back Facebook appeal to find Jack Russell stolen from car in Dundee

A Jack Russell has been snatched from a car in Dundee, sparking a desperate online appeal from his owner.
Nursery manager Angela McGoldrick parked her Technotots-branded car on Perth Road near the Queen’s Hotel and in a window of less than a few minutes her pet Sos was stolen.
Angela said she was devastated that someone could have done this to 10-year-old Sos.
Her colleagues at the nursery, where Sos is well-known, started an online campaign on Facebook which has attracted more than 3,000 shares.
Angela said their hope is to raise awareness to the point where Sos becomes “too hot to handle” and he is returned.
She said: “If anyone has got him please give him back or leave him some place safe.”
Police have confirmed they are investigating the incident which took place sometime between 1.20pm and 1.25pm on Friday.
Anyone with information can contact police on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
