A Dundee United fan has been rushed to hospital after collapsing while queuing for tickets.
The incident occurred outside the club’s shop on Tannadice Street as fans queued to buy League Cup derby tickets.
A spokesman for the Scottish Ambulance service confirmed that they attended the scene at 9.10am and conveyed the supporter to Ninewells.
They could not provide further information because it was a medical matter, the spokesman added.
Dundee United also confirmed the incident.
A spokesperson for the club said: “We can confirm there was a supporter who took ill in the queue outside the ticket office today and that an ambulance attended and took the patient to hospital.”
The condition of the supporter is currently unknown.
