Half-finished road markings in Broughty Ferry have left drivers scratching their heads.
Give way junctions in the UK have a single dashed line on the right-hand side of the road and double dashes on the left-hand side.
However, following resurfacing work on the junctions between Crawford Place and Dawson Road no lines have yet been painted on the left hand side of the road.
The situation is the same on Dawson Road’s junction with Stratheden Road.
One motorist contacted The Courier to say he thought workers had mistakenly painted “American-style” junctions instead.
However, a spokeswoman for Dundee City Council said: “It is not finished yet but will be done as soon as possible.
“We are working on the entire estate but cannot put lines down in poor conditions.”
