Commercial flights cancelled at Dundee Airport for 48 hours due to strike action
ByThe Courier Reporter
Airport operators have confirmed that commercial flights in and out of Dundee will be cancelled for the next 48 hours.
It is the sole regional airport affected by the strike action called by bosses at the Prospect union, who are fighting for a pay rise for security staff.
The industrial action begins at midday today and will see eight scheduled services cancelled four outbound from Dundee and four inbound from Stansted.
Highlands and Islands Airports, which operates Dundee, said operator Loganair had been “working hard to contact all affected passengers”.
