A man has appeared in court charged with the murder of a Broughty Ferry woman at a flat in Glasgow. The body of Katy Rourke was found at the property in Minto Street in the Govan area of the city at about 5pm on Wednesday. Gary Stevenson was arrested and appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Saturday charged with murder, the Crown Office said. The 26-year-old made no plea or declaration and was remanded in custody ahead of a further court appearance. Katy, who was 25, was a former pupil of Grove Academy and has two sisters, Gill and Jen. It is understood she had been living with the latter in Glasgow, in between working on cruise ships for P&O in Australia.
