Driver arrested after car crashes into house in Dundee

A 26-year-old man has been arrested after the car he was driving crashed into a house in Dundee.
The incident happened on Ancrum Road, at about 10.50am on Thursday.
The silver Renault Clio also collided with a parked Mercedes Sprinter van. The driver was taken to Ninewells Hospital as a precaution but he was not believed to be seriously injured.
The area around the collision site was closed while a minor gas leak at the premises was repaired and to allow crash investigators to carry out inquiries at the scene.
Tayside Division are appealing to anyone who saw this vehicle on its journey, from where it was first seen by police in Buttars Loan to the scene of the collision in Ancrum Road, to contact them.
Anyone who can assist should call 101 or speak to any officer.
