A Dundee teenager has admitted swearing at police officers who broke up a party in his Lochee flat.
Police were called to Keiren Thomson’s Elders Court property at around 6am on Sunday following reports of a disturbance.
Depute fiscal Muhammad Sadiq said: “The accused was among a large number of other persons. He was volatile and continued to shout and swear at police.”
Anne Duffy, defending, said: “He was having a few friends around and the police went in pretty heavy-handed.
“He says police were abusive to him. He was thrown to the floor, handcuffed to the rear and forcibly put into a cell.”
Thomson, 18, admitted behaving in a threatening or abusive manner. Sentence was deferred until January 29.
