A train from Aberdeen made an emergency stop at Dundee last night after reports of a fight breaking out among passengers.
The train bound for Glasgow Queen Street was delayed for around 45 minutes while British Transport Police made their way to the scene.
The journey was eventually terminated at Perth, where passengers were subsequently transferred on to the 7.47pm Aberdeen to Glasgow Queen Street service.
Stops at Gleneagles, Stirling and Glasgow Queen Street were cancelled.
ScotRail said it was “due to disruptive passengers”.
Passengers on social media described a fight breaking out in a carriage. Were you on the train? Contact The Courier on 01382 575130 or email online@thecourier.co.uk
