Gallery: District 10 creates offices from shipping containers
ByThe Courier Reporter
Scores of employees in Dundee’s creative sector could be set to find out what it’s like to work in a shipping container following the official opening of the first unit in the city’s new District 10 business district. The bright, airy and flexible office space has been created from 37 steel containers at a former rail yard in the Seabraes area of the city. It is expected to support 60 jobs across 15 companies but with eight more blocks on the drawing board, total economic benefits could run to some £10m a year by the time the project is complete.
