A Broughty Ferry social worker is asking an employment tribunal to reconsider its rejection of her claims in connection with her disability discrimination and harassment case against Dundee City Council.
Marie Riley, of Brown Street, had a claim of disability discrimination struck out on grounds that it had no reasonable prospect of success, claims of indirect discrimination and victimisation refused and a claim of harassment prior to March 2010 time barred.
She said she was asking the tribunal to reconsider its pre-hearing review judgment and explained she has other claims which have yet to be heard.
Miss Riley was employed by the council at Ninewells in 2007 and the tribunal was told there were problems with her report writing. She was diagnosed with dyspraxia in 2012.
The council challenged her claims in terms of the point at which they knew or could reasonably be expected to know of her disability.
The claimant disputes the council’s contention and this is the subject of her further action.
