Jam In The Park music festival application withdrawn from committee
ByThe Courier Reporter
An application for a licence to hold a huge live music festival at Camperdown Park was withdrawn from the licensing committee today.
Organisers Jam Promotions say there are no major problems but more time is required to complete the application process.
A spokesman said: “We took the decision to withdraw it from this month’s committee because the council officers pointed out a couple of things that were not in place. We have decided to defer the application and it should go before the June committee.”
Jam In The Park could see 26,000 people over two days watching top bands at Camperdown over the October holiday weekend.
