Jam tomorrow organisers postpone Camperdown Park music festival

The big music festival planned for Camperdown Park in October has been postponed until next year.
Jam In The Park, which was scheduled for the holiday weekend of October 5 and 6, is now planned to take place on May 24 and 25, 2014.
The organisers behind the event, JAM Promotions, say they had no option but to delay the two-day festival after encountering significant problems in booking bands due to time constraints.
With their licence only being granted in June after several months of negotiation with council officials, the organisers were left with “insufficient time” to book bands and acts of the right quality in order to launch the event and get the tickets on sale.
In addition, embargos on bands they targeted but who have played at other major events in Scotland this summer has cut down the options for the organisers in putting their favoured line-up together in time.
