A man is to stand trial accused of leaving a gaping hole in the side of Dundee United’s Tannadice Stadium.
Bradley Forsyth is alleged to have smashed his Ford Fiesta into the turnstiles on April 6 last year.
The crash which occurred the day after United hosted Celtic in a top-flight match left a hole in the side of the Fair Play Stand at the turnstiles leading to its lower tier.
Forsyth is accused of failing to stop and failing to report the crash within 24 hours.
He also faces a further charge of failing to identify the driver of a car in Dundee’s Hilltown following an incident there.
Forsyth, 23, of Playfair Terrace, Dundee, denies the three charges on summary complaint at Dundee Sheriff Court.
Sheriff Tom Hughes continued the case to a further pre-trial hearing later this month.
