Claypotts Castle primary pupils, parents and staff walked, jogged and ran around their school pitch on Saturday in aid of Cancer Research UK.
The 1k event was organised to allow boys to be involved in the Race for Life and most school and nursery pupils took part along with many of their parents.
An entrance fee of £5 each and the proceeds from a bucket collection will go to Cancer Research UK.
Head teacher Susan Walker said: “This is an exciting opportunity for our children to team up with their grown-ups and do something healthy together for charity.
“I am very grateful to Mrs Whyte and Mrs Tovey who have planned, organised and motivated everyone for this inspirational event.”
The school thanked Tesco, CJ Lang, Bookers and Tayside Contracts for donations as well as Early and Young People Team, NHS Tayside’s PublicHealth Team, Cancer Research and the Douglas Sports Centre which ran stalls.
