The public will finally have the chance to try out the new Olympia Centre in Dundee when it opens its doors at 10am on Thursday.
The £31.5 million centre in East Whale Lane boasts a 50-metre competition pool, wave pool, dive pool, rapid river, bubble bed, four flumes, a fitness suite and a cafe.
A multi-storey car park has been built next to the centre as part of the city council project.

The pool received rave reviews when it opened for a special preview earlier this month, and now the general public get their chance to try it out.
The pool will be open from 10am to 8.30pm Monday to Friday and 10am to 5.30pm at weekends. Opening hours for the fitness studio are 6am to 9pm Monday to Friday, 8am to 5.30pm on Saturdays and 10am to 5.30pm on Sundays.

A one-hour swim will cost £4.80 or £3.80 concession, and a family ticket for up to four people will cost £15. One-week family passes and a six-week school summer holiday pass for children are available for £30.
The new Olympia replaces the old leisure centre in Earl Grey Place which is being demolished to make way for the redevelopment of the central waterfront. Part of its site will be taken over by the V&A design museum.
