Police are investigating a theft from a Dundee church hall on Monday evening.
Officers believe that a large amount of cash and other valuables were stolen from the Friary church hall in Tullideph Road, between 9.20pm and 9.55pm.
The City Church Dundee, which operates from the hall, refused to comment on the theft, citing an active police investigation. It is unclear whether the stolen goods belonged to the church or another party using the hall.
A blue money tin, containing a four figure sum of cash, was taken by thieves, according to police.
They also stole an Adidas holdall which contained a white iPhone 4s, a black iPhone 4 in a purple case, a Samsung Galaxy S4 and a pair of sunglasses.
A three-figure sum of money in a cream purse with a gold bow was also taken.
Anyone who knows where the stolen items are now, or anyone who knows who might be responsible for the theft, should get in touch with Police Scotland, Tayside Division, on 101.
