A Dundee family have paid tribute to a mother of eight who died last week. Tracey Brown, 48, of Ardler, took her own life at the Tay Road Bridge after many years of suffering from depression. Her partner James Campbell said: “Despite her illness, she tried to live life to the full. She tried not to let it get her down. “We helped her through everything. We were really proud of how she coped with it. “It has been a difficult few days, but we’ve all rallied round and she would have loved that. She was my life.” Tracey, originally from Edinburgh, moved to Dundee when she was 18. She had two sons and six daughters. Son Paul said: “When she physically could she would go out, even if just for half an hour into town. “She made an effort and did everything she could.” He added: “We would like to thank the bus driver who tried to talk to her on the bridge and everyone else who tried to help her on Friday.”
