‘Something needs to be done’ mum given parking ticket while helping her disabled daughter out of car

Jen Clark was ticketed by parking company UKPC, who operate in several locations across Dundee.
She said “something needs to be done” about private parking firms after she was given a ticket while getting her disabled daughter out of the car at the Gallagher Retail Park.
Not only does the Gallagher offer two hours of free parking, but they were parked in a parent and child space and attending to their daughter.
Jen said: “We have disputed this as it’s still marked a parent and child bay.”
The family have yet to have a response from UKPC and say they intend to fight any charge.
