Emergency services rushed to Dundee Airport on Saturday amid fears of a plane crash.
Police, firefighters, ambulance crews and the Coastguard were all called out at 3.50pm after reports that a small plane with two people on board had suffered damage to its propeller and landing gear.
The aircraft was flying from Carlisle when the pilot contacted air traffic control to say one of the propellers was not working properly.
Roads were closed around Riverside and other flights halted.
The plane landed safely at about 4.20pm.
A police spokesman said a call came in from the airport requesting emergency assistance.
He said: “It was a small, light aircraft with something wrong with the propeller. Thankfully it landed safely with no injury or damage.”
He added protocols are in place for this kind of incident and the emergency services responded accordingly.
