Wheelchair user attacked and robbed in Broughty Ferry

A wheelchair user has been assaulted and robbed in Broughty Ferry.
The cowardly attack happened in King Street at the junction of New Road on Monday evening.
Police say the 52-year-old victim was in his wheelchair when he was approached by a man, who assaulted him and took his shopping bag, which was recovered a short time later.
The victim suffered minor injuries and did not require medical treatment.
The attacker is described as being about 5ft 7in, in his early 20s of medium build, with dark hair and facial hair.
He was wearing a dark hooded top with a dark T-shirt, blue jogging bottoms and blue trainers.
Police are asking anyone with information to contact them on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
