A man will stand trial accused of using a gun to make two people “believe that unlawful violence would be used against them”.
Andrew Colvin is alleged to have had a firearm in his possession on May 13 last year in Whalers Close.
He is alleged to have had it with the intention of causing Jaye Hudson and Alexander McGowan to believe that violence would be used against them.
Colvin is further alleged to have behaved in a threatening and abusive manner, shouted, swore and acted aggressively. A third charge alleges that he assaulted Miss Hudson by spitting on her.
Colvin, 49, of Albert Street, Dundee, pleaded not guilty to charges of behaving in a threatening and abusive manner, assault and a charge under the Firearms Act.
The case was continued to a jury trial later this month.
