Police appeal after man suffers facial injuries in Dundee assault

Police are investigating a serious assault on a man in Dundee.
The 43-year-old was attacked at about 4.45pm on Monday.
The victim suffered serious facial injuries when he was assaulted by a man wearing a dark-coloured hooded top at a bus stop on Liff Road, near to the junction with Buttars Loan.
Officers are keen for anyone who may have witnessed the incident to contact them and in particular a female who was believed to have been at the bus stop a short time before it occurred.
Anyone with any information regarding this incident should call Police Scotland on 101 or speak to any police officer.
