Dundee-based charity Roshni is spending £100,000 to help Scotland’s minority ethnic communities.
From now until July 31 the organisation is giving people the chance to apply for up to £10,000 to fund projects that will benefit minorities.
Ali Khan, Roshni’s executive chairman, said: “I encourage everyone who is passionate about where they live to think about how to spend up to £10,000 in their community and send us their ideas as soon as possible.
“It could be an after-school football club to help keep kids off the streets, a community garden project, refurbishing a local park or socialising activities for our elders anything that will make our communities healthier, safer and happier places to live.”
Roshni will reveal its fund winners on October 24, during its SECuring Brighter Futures event in Glasgow. For information, email info@roshni.org.uk.
