Anger over ‘disgusting’ flytipping at Mill o’ Mains park beauty spot

Dundee park-goers have blasted the “disgusting” flytippers who targeted a local beauty spot.
A mound of household items was ditched on a public path at Mill o’ Mains park on Tuesday morning with items left including a bike, a baby chair, a vacuum cleaner and a settee.
Yvonne Mullen, 54, of the Mill o’ Mains Pavilion, labelled the perpetrators “disgraceful”.She said: “How do they think it is acceptable to do this?
“Why don’t they tip their rubbish out in another end of town?
“We have toddlers that use the pavilion who go round to the park. It’s disgraceful.”
Councillor John Alexander, convener of Dundee City Council’s neighbourhood services committee, said officers are investigating the issue.
