MORE THAN 350 people turned out to view the revised plans for the V&A at Dundee.
An exhibition was held at Abertay University from Thursday to Saturday.
Visitors had the chance to look at the latest designs, which will see the museum built on the edge of the existing waterfront rather than out into the river Tay.
The exhibition also included a computer-generated video tour of the interior of the building and its surroundings, which will feature pools of water to retain the connection with the river.
Tara Wainwright, V&A at Dundee’s marketing manager, said: “We had 356 people visit the exhibition over the three days.
“It’s an incredible number, especially given the weather, and we’d like to thank everybody who came along. The reaction was overwhelmingly positive by day three people were saying how excited they were and that they couldn’t wait for it to open.”
Architect Kengo Kuma’s updated plans show V&A at Dundee moving shorewards closer to the RSS Discovery and other attractions and into the heart of the city’s redeveloped central waterfront.
A revised planning application will be lodged with Dundee City Council later this year.
