O2 customers in Dundee and Angus have had their service restored after it had been out of action for five days.
A problem with the Craigowl transmitter knocked out the signal to phone users in the Strathmartine area.
On Thursday, O2 said an engineer was sent to try to deal with the problem when the site went down on January 27, but was forced back by the hazardous weather.
An O2 spokesman said: “The location is on one of the highest hills in the area and, with the adverse weather conditions experienced recently, this caused a delay in getting to the site.
“Our engineer was able to get access today they identified the problem and fixed it earlier this afternoon.
“Full service has now been restored for customers and we’d like to apologise for any inconvenience caused while the site was out of service.”
