A set of bongo drums and a mandolin were stolen after thieves smashed a window at a music shop in Dundee at the weekend.
The thieves also made off with several other shop fittings and musical equipment from the window display at Vintage Strings on Perth Road some time between 5.40pm on Saturday and 4.30am on Sunday.
It is understood that a witness heard a commotion around 4pm on Sunday and saw two males wearing hooded tops carrying items.
Police are also appealing for witnesses after two steel water tanks were stolen from Fairfield Social Club in Drumgeith Road some time between 9am and 10am on Sunday.
Officers are keen to speak to anyone who may have been in the area at the time and who may have seen any vehicles that uplifted the two-tonne tanks.
