Driver has lucky escape from dramatic car crash in Dundee

A car rolled on to its side in two-car crash in Pentland Avenue in Dundee on Thursday evening.

Emergency services rushed to the scene but no one was seriously injured as a result of the crash, which happened just after 6pm.

There was concern that one of the drivers was trapped in the vehicle but a spokesman for the fire service said he had been released by the time they arrived.

The road was closed at both ends for a short period while debris was removed.

A spokesman for the police said both drivers were checked over by paramedics but no one required to be taken to hospital.
