Police seal off Dundee road after car crash

Alexander Street has now reopened after being sealed off by police following a car crash caused a diesel spillage.

Police, ambulance and fire services attended the scene following the collision at around 2.15pm today.

Firefighters stabilised both cars and made the scene safe while officers blocked the road in both directions.

The Scottish Ambulance Service sent two ambulances and an ambulance car. Those involved are thought to have suffered minor injuries.
