Sudden death at Dudhope Court multi not suspicious

Tayside Police said there are “no suspicious circumstances” regarding the sudden death of a 54-year-old Dundee woman at a multi-storey.
The body of the woman, named locally as Jennifer Findlay, was discovered at around 8am on Monday at the front steps to Dudhope Court on St Mary’s Place, where she lived on the seventh floor.
It is understood the woman died after falling from the building.
Officers cordoned off the main entrance to the building until 11.45am while residents were asked to use the rear door to gain access.
A tarpaulin tent was erected to cover part of the step and police guarded both the approach to the building and the woman’s doorway.
Shocked neighbours described her as a woman who “kept herself to herself.”
A police spokesman said last night that the woman had been identified and that officers were notifying next of kin.
He confirmed there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding the woman’s death and that a report would be submitted to the procurator fiscal.
