Dunfermline heads back to 14th Century for festival

Battles, jousting and other acts of derring-do brought medieval Scotland back to life in Dunfermline at the weekend.
The annual Bruce Festival once more provided a spectacular two days of drama, entertainment and fun to celebrate the Fife town’s links with Robert the Bruce.
Set against the backdrop of Dunfermline Abbey and Pittencrieff Park, the event gives visitors a taste of life in the 14th Century.
