A man has been acquitted of threatening to behead a man in a Kinross store.
Ali Aribaci, of Fleming Way, Burntisland, walked free following a day and a half-long trial at Perth Sheriff Court.
He had faced two charges.
The first alleged he had assaulted Jamie White at the Todd and Duncan cashmere outlet on September 24 last year by pushing him and holding a knife to his throat.
The second alleged that on the same date at the same place, the 41-year-old behaved in a threatening or abusive manner by shouting, swearing and threatening to cut Mr White’s head off.
The 15-strong jury delivered a majority not guilty verdict to both accusations.
