Four cars were involved in a traffic collision on the Forth bridge, causing traffic problems while police cleared up the accident. Police Scotland said there were only “minor” injuries as a result of this collision, but none of those involved have been taken to hospital. Police closed one lane on the northbound carriageway to deal with the incident and heavy traffic was reported on both sides approaching the crossing. Officers fully reopened the northbound carriageway just after 3pm.
