Father of missing Glenrothes man Allan Bryant hits back at cash accusations

The father of a missing Glenrothes man has hit back at claims that funds used in the search for his son are being misappropriated.
Allan Bryant Sr has told The Courier that he is open and transparent as to how public donations to help find his son, Allan Jr, are spent.
It follows recent claims on a Facebook page established to assist in the hunt for the 25-year-old, who has not been seen since November 2013.
However, Allan Sr has said that people who have donated to the fund, established to keep Allan Jr’s disappearance in the public eye, have nothing to worry about.
“If anybody wants to see the balance sheets then I will let them see them,” he told The Courier.
“The last thing that we need is hassle.
“We try and tell people what we are doing with the funding. The money doesn’t go into my account.”
Allan Bryant Jr has not been seen since leaving Styx nightclub in Glenrothes during the early hours of November 3 2013.
