Man hospitalised after three-vehicle accident causes chaos on A92 in Fife

There were lengthy delays on the eastbound carriageway of the A92 between Lochgelly and Kirkcaldy this morning following a three-vehicle collision.
The accident, which occurred just before 7am, involved a bus, a Peugeot and a Vauxhall Corsa.
Fire Crews from Kirkcaldy and Lochgelly fire stations attended the incident and firefighters helped free a male casualty who was trapped in one of the cars.
He was taken by ambulance to Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy for treatment.
His injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
The accident caused lengthy delays on the road at rush-hour while the damaged vehicles and debris were removed from the road.
There were then further delays on the westbound carriageway following a minor, one-vehicle collision.
Drivers heading east on the A90 this morning also had to contend with significant delays following a one-vehicle accidents at Kinfauns.
The driver was unhurt.
