The trustees of a recently-renovated library are offering a unique chance for somebody to run a hostel within its building.
Fife councillor Elizabeth Riches said this was a “unique opportunity” for an individual or organisation to take on the running of the hostel in the Murray Library building on Shore Street, Anstruther.
The main library building has been fitted out as a hostel in a recently-completely project.
Many original features have been preserved, such as the staircase and hall floor, plus some original radiators.
Mrs Riches said: “The trustees are in the process of looking for an operator to run the Murray Hostel in the front of the newly renovated Murray Library building.
“It will be rent from the new units for those in creative industries in the Murray Studios and from the Murray Hostel that will allow the trustees to award grants for the benefit of educational and recreational purposes for the people of Anstruther.”
