Man who died in crash outside Kirkcaldy named as Brian Forbes

The man who died in a crash outside Kirkcaldy on Wednesday evening has this morning been named by police as Brian Forbes, of Kettlebridge.

Mr Forbes, who was 22, was driving a silver Corsa that was involved in a collision with a bus on the A921 Kirkcaldy to Kinghorn road.

Paying tribute, his family said, “Brian was a loving partner and dad. He had worked hard to gain and keep a career to support his family.

“He was mature beyond his years, devoted sensible and caring. One in a million who will be sadly missed by his partner Louise and children.”
