Driver in hospital after crashing into house in Fife

A man has been taken to hospital after crashing his car into the side of a house in Fife.

A driver was taken to hospital in the early hours of Thursday morning after his car crashed into a house in a Fife village.

The vehicle struck the side of the property in Lochleven Road in Lochore at around 2.45am.

Emergency services attended the scene and the driver received first aid from paramedics before being taken to Victoria Hospital.

Police Scotland said the house was cordoned off following the incident and the occupants were moved while firefighters worked on the property to make it safe.

The extent of the driver’s injuries is not yet known.
